We got word last night that there was a 8.2 earthquake and tsunami in the north of Chile, Santiago is much further south, so all is well here, but pray for the people of Chile! I love them so much and they could use some help!
This week has been pretty amazing! We got to go out today and talk with real people..... in Spanish!!!!!! I got in about 5 words buuuuuut I understood 70% of the conversation with a real Chileano!! I may not know everything but I can get by and teach and bear my testimony of Christ! Wow!
We only have 6 more days at the CCM! I can almost taste it! I am pretty ready to get out into Chile and start helping people! Guess what? In two days we get to go out with other missionaries in this area! The countdown has been started!
In other news of Chile, two days ago we experienced the Chileanos annual night of protest and tire burning! We’re still in a super nice part of town so we didn’t have any problems but our teachers had to go home early so they wouldn’t get caught in it! haha Chiles not scary I promise : )
Because I will be leaving the CCM next week my address will change, If you send any letters (I would love to hear from you : ) ) please send them to this address PS I would love photos!!
This week I had the opportunity to talk to a Chilean man who was giving me advice on my Spanish. He told me, "If you want to talk about business learn English, if you want to talk about love learn French, but if you want to talk about God learn Spanish" I love that! I´m so excited to talk about God to the People of Chile!!
