CHILDREN, CARRS AND PIZZA

Hello all!! This week flew!

This week we had to go downtown for the two days to finish up paper work for Hna McCoard’s Chileano ID, which meant......... I got to spend two WHOLE days with Hna Carr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was over the moon when I realized she had to fill out her papers at the same time! I have really missed her, and it was such a treat to talk to her again! She’s has been learning a lot with her new companion in her new sector, It hasn’t been easy, but I love seeing her grow and learn!

We have started to teach two boys (8 and 9) who’s fathers are returning to the church and are working really hard to be worthy to baptize their children! It is a fun new challenge to teach kids : ) because their fathers are still working on becoming active in the Church, we are really teaching them too! It has been a real blessing to see Good men striving to be Great men! I am really grateful to be apart of their journey back : )

A few days ago a member from our ward gave us pizza for lunch. Hna McCoard just about died when she realized that one was corn pizza and the other asparagus (SPELLING? that green veggie that is like a stick with an afro on top : ) ) Hahaha that is super typical Chile : ) If it’s in the fridge, it’s going in the food : ) I just adore them!!

I have been studying a lot these past couple weeks about the Atonement of Christ. How hard it is to apply this forgiveness and love for yourself! Sometime we want to be better so much that we totally forget about what we have done. I think that we are much stronger than we think we are, and God loves us much more than we know. Hold on to that hope even when you can’t believe it; just hold on until you can feel it : ) Know that I love you and am praying for you!

Sed de buen animo!

PS. We went to a beautiful Cathedral today, and I was just soaking it all in. The stain glass, huge painted doors, the art, and the nuns; I mean how cool is that! That is until I noticed my companion nervously looking at the door..... woops! I forget that normal people might feel awkward being missionaries chillin’ in one of Chiles largest Catholic churches : )
