Due to emergency transfers I´m in a new sector! With a new companion! I have had a few small problems with my knees and so has my new companion Hna McCord, so we are together for two weeks to rest and we’ll be right back out in two weeks more!
I adore Hna McCord! So here in the mission if you are one of the trainers (you are trained for 12 weeks) of a new missionary you are there ¨mother¨ on the mission. And as luck would have it, Hna McCord´s other ¨mother¨ was my sister (we had the same ¨mother¨ or trainer) So Hna McCord is really my niece : ) we joked that she was spending summer break (its summer here) with her aunt : ). I realized that I really am not happy if I´m not helping someone in a significant way : ) So I am so happy to be here with her, I get to help her with her knee and talk out her problems.
And though I am happy to be here, it was hard to give up my sector, my little flock that God gave me. I was very sad to leave Maria especially because she will be getting baptized this week. But I am 100% positive that I am in Putaendo with Hna McCord for a purpose. I have a testimony that we have the ability to be the tool of God in every situation. I know there are things that she needs to hear that I can tell her. I want to leave you with my favorite scripture. I know that whatever happens to us is part of this plan that God has for us. I testify as a representation of Christ that We all have divine potential and we have all the help of God to get us there. It does not matter where we are in the path just that we keep on WALKING and when we can´t walk any further:
Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.
