LOVE TRAINING!!! My new companion is Hna Carr from Boise, ID! She is ready and willing to work!
This week has been full of miracles and improvement : )
I love Hna Carr! I love being able to help teach her! We are happiest when we are looking outside of ourselves! We are both new with all of this, but we are learning together, and though we get lost more than your average missionary, I would not have it any other way : )
This week we had a talent show in the ward! Have I told you yet that I have the BEST ward in Chile!! They really have taken Hna Carr and me in : ) We ate lunch this week with the funniest old lady. She was always laughing and telling us about her crazy witch step daughter. Another older lady in our ward gave me a notebook for church because I complemented her notebook last week: ) Oh goodness, I love Chilean Grandmas : )
We are working a lot with Romina and Jorghe this week. It’s a little sad because they fit right in and have so much potential but they cannot get baptized yet because Jorghe still needs a divorce... BUT Jorghe is now Drug free!!!!! They are progressing wonderfully. Sometimes, the things that are the sweetest, take the most work and time, so we will just be patient: )
So in my first sector I had a nightmare that I finished my mission and was at my home but could only remember my first 6 months. I was sad because I felt like I had not accomplished anything in those 6 months I could remember. This dream really motivated me to get moving! To work my hardest every single day, so that after every day if I had to finish my mission right then I would have done my best for God. I was reminded of this dream this week and realized that next week I will reach my 6 month mark. And you know what? I have given every day my all now I can look back on my first 6 months see all the people I have helped and how much progress I have made as a missionary and as a person! I know that it does not matter how much we give just as long as we give it! Open our mouths! Share what we have! Lift others! We cannot hide our talents like it says in Mathew 25 https://www.lds.org/scriptures/nt/matt/25.20?lang=eng#19 we need to improve ourselves everyday so that when we stand before the Lord we can happily show him that he made a good investment in us!
I love you all and am so grateful for your support and love! We missionaries could not do it without those supporting up back at home!
Love,
Hna Madi Fullmer
