This week, I have decided to not only look for miracles but expect them! And guess what? When you’re looking for them they come!
The first miracle was in Renaldo! He is our investigator, who is a grandpa, and whose wife passed away a year ago. We have heard a lot about his daughter (lives close with her husband and daughter) and have been trying to figure out how we can talk to her too. Well guess what? God gave us a miracle because when we got to his house for a lesson, she was in there!! She was in the kitchen but I invited her to talk with us and she said YES! Woot woot! We had a great lesson with them and are going back this week!
Now a word about Gema.... I adore her! She is a women in our ward (about 60ish) who was inactive for 20 years, then one day she looked at her life realized she wasn’t happy and came back to church. That was 2 months ago and she’s only missed one Sunday since then : ) She is Loving and call us angels : ) (I don’t think she has every called me Hna Fullmer, its always OOOh mi Nina, amor... etc). So we have been working a lot with her and she is progressing wonderfully! But her husband is very very religious and likes us but doesn’t really want to support her. BUUUT about two weeks ago we invited him to listen to the first lesson (about the restoration of God´s Church) and he said YES! At the end of the lesson I felt good about what we had taught but didn’t have much hope that he would progress, I was just happy he had listened. But now he wants us to come back and teach him more!!!!!!!! People really can have a change of heart!!!!!!
We are so very happy here in San Felipe! Things are not perfect put we are praying and moving forward with faith that God will put people in our path!
Love you all and am praying for you!
Love,
Hna Fullmer
